Skalatu
This was a pilot project held earlier this winter, February to March break. We partnered with Oneida Recreation Youth Group and together hosted the youth for 6 sessions once a week. The participants learned different techniques for creating content using lighting, audio editing, stop-motion animation, live action video, and assembling all together into a short video. The requirement was that they had to include Oneida language in their work. The elders were on hand to help with Oneida words they needed. Wetwatu’weskhwáte̲ we had a good time
