Staffing

Due to limited funding, OLCC operates on a part-time basis with two permanent staff – a  Director who carries out the administrative function of budgeting, reporting; and the program function of developing curriculum for teaching and learning Oneida language and culture for all ages community-wide; and a Graphic artist who is responsible for designs and layouts of all multi-media resources – mp3 audio files for community use, database maintenance, and web presence.

A team of ten Master Speakers provide all language content for a variety of resources. They meet on a regular basis to immerse in Oneida language. A roster of resource specialists are contracted as needed: Wes Day for film productions; and various others for  cultural  research; singing, dancing, crafting etc. to complement our services.
